Call to Action! Please help us change the law and make tampering with a GPS device a Felony not a slap on the wrist. Judiciary Committee is deciding now to either protect victims or continue to let dangerous repeat offenders go unpunished. It’s a public safety issue for all!

It’s way past time to protect victims from dangerous abusers who are given the privilege to be on a GPS instead of jail. Pass Bill 1098 and make it a felony if they tamper with the GPS. Protect Victims. Enough chances for the abusers.

Bill 1098 will make cutting off a GPS a Felony, now it’s a slap on the wrist to dangerous offenders. Chairs Eldridge and Day with the Judiciary Committee. Will decide by7/31. Please pass this bill to protect victims and the community.

Senate Bill 1098 has been extended until July 31st.
