September is Su***de Prevention Month. At the PediMIND Program, we are dedicated to better understanding su***de and self-injury so that we can help improve treatment, raise awareness, and prevent these problems.

Unfortunately, su***de is the 2nd leading cause of death—starting at age 10—extending to age 34. And that’s only the tip of the iceberg, with almost 20% of high school students considering su***de at least once during the past year, and increasing numbers of kids engaging in self-injury.

If you know a 10-17 year old affected by su***de or self-injury, or have a kid without such problems, join a PediMIND study—so we can use brain science to help with this problem.

The PediMIND team will also be participating in the AFSP Boston Area walk on October 21st - join us!
