Indigenous peoples have been stewarding a stable climate for millennia.

Indigenous communities have cared for the land, maintained reciprocity, and sustained the balance that supports both people and the ecosystems we depend on.

Now, that leadership is shaping the future of energy in Canada. Over the past 25 years, Indigenous ownership and participation in clean energy projects has grown significantly — with 352 operational projects across the country today.

Explore Indigenous Clean Energy's national snapshot of how First Nations, Inuit, and Métis peoples and communities are leading the energy transition. 📊👇

Action alert from Charles River Watershed Association:
Submit Public Comment Today!

“This year, the Massachusetts Water Resources Authority (MWRA) and the Cities of Somerville and Cambridge were legally required to draft a long-term control plan for the that release sewage into the Charles River during heavy rainstorms. The draft plan they released in April is so weak that it would allow continued sewage dumping for decades to come. Public comments are open through September 30.

Tell regulators you want a stronger plan to eliminate sewage discharges once and for all.”
