Final CDE of the summer! Our Livestock Judging team competed today at the Iowa FFA Association State Livestock Judging CDE held at Iowa State University. The team of Royce, Matthew, Jennifer, and Paisley earned a silver rating! Matthew was the top individual for Boone placing 17th overall individual in Iowa.

Our Floriculture CDE team competed at Kirkwood Community College today and placed 39th. Team members included Halle, Paisley, Michaella, and Riley.

Congrats to our Horse Evaluation CDE team for placing 5th in the state! Pictured L to R: Grace Merriam, Emersyn Zehner, Addison Vorst, and Katelyn Walters. Emersyn Zehner was the 5th place overall individual.

Matthew Fitzgerald competed in the Kirkwood Open Livestock Judging Contest and was the High Individual in the Sheep/Goat division today and 6th place overall. Way to go!

Chapter Officers attended the North Central District FFA Officer Leadership Training today held at Ellsworth Community College in Iowa Falls. Excited to see what this group of leaders accomplish over the next year!

The Precision Ag Class at Boone High School was featured for our partnership with ISU Digital Ag. Check out the video and story featuring Mr. Fitzgerald and some of our ag students and FFA members!

Ms. Reicks took our Floriculture CDE team to Salama Greenhouse to practice making floral arrangements and plant identification. They will be competing in the Iowa FFA Floriculture CDE on June 9th. Thanks to the crew at Salama's for their support and assistance!
