OUR TWO LUCKY WINNERS OF THE $50 PLANT SALE CREDIT ARE Josie Shatley Reeves & Colby Elaine Carpenter!!

Watauga FFA's annual plant sale will be held on FRIDAY, MAY 1 and SATURDAY, MAY 2 from 8am-6pm both days in the WHS greenhouse located at the back of the school building! We have a variety of hanging baskets, perennials, annuals, houseplants/foliage, and some herbs. Full plant list below - we have multiple colors of each plant listed.

All are welcome! We are doing a giveaway as well! To participate, check the comments!

We are almost ready for our annual Spring Plant Sale! Be sure to visit our greenhouse on Friday, May 1st or Saturday, May 2nd from 8am to 6pm! We have a variety of annuals, perennials, and houseplants in hanging baskets, cell packs, and individuals. Full plant and price list coming soon!

Last week we had a great time at the Northwest Region FFA Rally! Students represented Watauga FFA well.

Student Highlights:
-Lillyanna A, Bella B, Sofia P, and Aliana O received 3rd place for Quiz Bowl
-Marina W received 4th place in Extemporaneous Public Speaking
-Aubrey N, Brodie W, Dylan G, and Brayden G participated in Nursery Landscape and placed 7th in the region
-Lilly J, Grace T, Paisley C, and Amos W participated in Tool ID and placed 11th in the region
-Eris W, Maddy C, Naomi S, and Maggie S participated in Introduction to Horticulture and placed 13th in the region
-Emma M, Kaylee L, Kayla T, and Kaylee W participated in floriculture and placed 13th in the region
-Paisley C, Allie E, and Grace T were the talent show participants for the region
-Marina W and Brodie W also received their state degrees and pins that they earned in 2025
- Marina W and Brodie W received their banners for Reserve Champions at the Cattle Working competition

Please join us on Saturday, April 4th at WHS from 11am - 2pm for a BBQ fundraiser and co****le tournament! The deadline to register for the tournament or purchase plates is Monday, March 23rd. The link to the google form is below.

BBQ will be provided by Boone Mountain BBQ. Plates will include pork BBQ, baked beans, slaw, roll, drink and dessert for $17/plate.

We will be raising money for our trip to National FFA Convention. This is an incredible opportunity for our students! We appreciate all your support!
