SHOW UP FOR YOUR LOCAL ARTISTS! 🎬Raleigh Adams is taking on the Appalachian Theatre August 13th. Mark your calendar for an unforgettable night! 🗓️

North Carolina artist Raleigh Adams will premiere "12 Found Objects" on August 13 at 7:30 p.m. at the historic Appalachian Theatre! The project features 12 original works of art crafted from materials collected across the state, spanning from Appalachian mountain treasures to Piedmont pinecones and coastal seashells. ⛰️
The evening will debut 12 short films directed by local legend Trimella Chaney, a former educator at Watauga County Schools very own Watauga High School and Appalachian State University. The films highlight each artwork while showcasing the landscapes and heritage that inspired them.

In recognition of Juneteenth, the Boone Police Department Records Division and administrative offices will be closed on June 19th, 2026.
