Focus on an athletic stance, swing it hard and keep the head still.

Of course there will be things to fix in a swing but if it’s a young player and the swing is good but the power just isn’t where you want it to be, it will come!

Step 1- The load. Keep it simple and think butt sticks back while pushing back foot through the ground.

Always check to see where the outfielders are set up prior to the pitch being thrown. This helps decision making as well!

My favorite slapping drill.

I love to pause in my crossover to really feel my left foot planted with my weight on the left side of my crossover knee. Occasionally to make sure I’m feeling grounded, I like to do a subtle bounce after I pause to make sure I’m balanced and using the ground.
