One of our managers, Vanessa Wood, squeezed in a pre‑workout — in her inflatable! — while prepping for the Inflatable Race next Friday, June 19, 2026. The heat is on and competition is brewing — who’s cheering Vanessa on? 🎈🏁💪

Check it out, friends! Our administrator Jordan Wineiger brought the energy calling Bingo today — you could hear him down the hall and throughout the building. B8! Jordan had a wonderful time with our residents — thanks for making the afternoon so fun! 🎉🧩👏

A little summer fun, adding to our rock garden. Residents got the chance to paint some rocks with the help of an amazing volunteer. These will look great in our courtyard.

🌟 Congratulations to Our Activities Director, Samantha Smith! 🌟
We are proud to celebrate Samantha Smith, who has once again been recognized for living out the Cassia Standard of Integrity. Samantha has now been nominated twice and awarded a Cassia Standards Pin for her outstanding dedication to our residents and community.
Integrity is often demonstrated in the quiet moments—when no one is watching and there is no expectation of recognition. Samantha consistently embodies this value through her compassion, selflessness, and commitment to doing what is right.
One nomination highlighted Samantha's commitment to resident safety and wellbeing. When an unexpected situation arose, Samantha quickly stepped in to provide support, reassurance, and compassionate care, demonstrating her dedication to doing what was right.
A second nomination recognized Samantha's compassion and integrity during a recent emergency evacuation at our Independent Living building. After residents were safely evacuated, Samantha immediately checked on residents and staff, offering comfort, support, and assistance during a stressful situation.
These nominations are just two examples of the many ways Samantha demonstrates integrity every day. Her willingness to step forward, support others, and put the wellbeing of our residents and staff first makes her an invaluable part of the Westhaven family.
Please join us in congratulating Samantha on this well-deserved recognition! 💙👏
