Went down a rabbit hole on the 24 inch saw. It is moving along but slower than expected.

Nice piece of Owyhee Jasper that was in the 24 inch saw yesterday. Need to replace the pulleys since one is bent. It caused saw marks that will have to be polished out. We are also going to put a bracket on the motor so it will tension correctly. Still have some bugs to work out, but we are getting there. Enjoy this piece. It has lots of character and I still have more of the chunk to cut.

So for those of you who have never met me, cutting rocks has been a dream of mine. I was able to get out into the shop and we took all three saws through their paces.

This is the very first rock I have ever cut. I picked a small one to try on the 6 inch trim saw to see how it would work in cutting an agate in half. The result is beautiful. Enjoy

Here is the fix, a simple piece of steel to block the oil from being forced over the saw lip. Runs great with no drips, runs or errors.

Filling the 24 inch saw with stellar lubricants mineral oil. We ave a leak in the back of the saw, working on a solution. Thank you Stellar Lubricants for getting the oil here and helping with shipping.
