The 2026 Gambero Rosso Tre Bicchieri -Chicago stop. Always a good tasting opportunity of Italian wine in Chicago - and some non imported ones. I enjoyed the wines, as well as meeting so many of my friends, colleagues, former customers many of them.

In the heart of Chicago there is - an urban small winery. Warren vinifies Tempranillo , Tannat, and other goodnesses with quality grapes from California. 312 Winery is also community and club. Thank you Warren for your hospitality.

Many studies that claim any amount of alcohol consumption is dangerous are, it turns out, flawed.
I couldn’t make it yesterday to the first day. But this second day was enlightening with classes and meetings. Also happy to see several colleagues and customers.
Only gratitude to life and all the amazing customers and colleagues in Chicagoland that enriched my life in the last five years. This is just the beginning!
Thank you for an insightful morning learning more about wines.

As many of you know, later this month (September 2025), I’ll be closing Authentic Vine’s Illinois distribution operations.
I’m forever grateful to our customers, colleagues, and friends for your continued support over these last four years.
