My gramma, passed away today. My only living gramma, is gone.

A friend of mine, also a neighbor, showed me a picture of a gingerbread man face (applique) a friend of hers used on a stocking, for Christmas.

I think she was giving me a challenge. Challenge accepted. Now making, and hoping I have enough of the brown color yarn, 5 more. Each will be a boy and girl, in total 3 pair. If I run out of this brown yarn, I have a lighter color to work with. It just means that I will be looking for this color in the future.

I gotta say, this turned out pretty nice.I was able to figure out a drawstring/straps that work with it that feel comfortable to wear. Though, the waistcoat stitch did start tilting a bit, it may need some tweaking, but it'll do for what I need it for.

This or that. What did you come up with?

I will have one done and another to go. But what takes too long its doing the one piece that piece it in. Meaning, it's horrible, it took me 2 weeks to do the thing I needed to do, but I got it done. So, I will need too get another one done, or do a new thread will together that up and down instead of side to side. I thought know, well see won't we.

Can I say this was the hardest to get done. I have 1-2 lines left, and I am done doing 1 glove, then I start with the other.

It's really coming along.

Developing a new pattern. One that covers the thumb a bit. Waiting for my other half to get home so he can try them on and see if they fit his massive hands (the one currently being worn is smaller/female size, which hopefully is just a hook change and no count change).

Got busy with a few amounts of yarn, them my hands started getting really tired. So, I stopped at the certain point. Just short of 4 rounds.
