Hey PIRATES! Just prior to the shutdown we had a bunch of new swag made up. Grey zip up hoodies with blue or pastel rainbow embroidery as well as sew on patches screen print T’s with the “dr black” or red patch and vinyl stickers in red, green, purple, teal, black and white. Normally these items would have been sold throughout the season to touring stagehands and locals to support the WCA of Idaho. Sadly because of the shutdown that could not happen this year. If you are interested please contact us with your preference of size and color options and we will let you know what we have for you. A few things to think on the eve of an election and as you go to your polling location. We are on the eve of an historic election. An election that can change the course of not only the country but the world and how AMERICA is seen and Respected; or how Contemptuous we really are. We have an opportunity to stop the hate. We have an opportunity to find the good in our fellow humans, no matter where they originate from, or how they identify in the end we are ALL HUMAN. We have an opportunity to take a step forward, instead of another 3 steps backwards. Earlier today I passed a truck bearing a Trump flag. This flag read “ Trump 2020 because F**k YOU and your feelings” Another on the side of the truck read “I’m voting for Trump because it pi**es Liberals off” #1 this election is not about my feelings, however it is about human decency, it is about putting an end to harmful stereotypes, it is about finding a way to safely rebuild once we find a vaccine for Covid-19, It is about BUILDING a BETTER FUTURE FOR EVERYONE! #2 if the reason you are voting for a person is because it “pi**es people off” you are voting for the wrong reason. If your goal for this election is to alienate people and make America a place where if you don’t look a certain way or think a certain thing you need to fear for your life then you are voting for the WRONG reasons. If you believe that fear and intimidation are appropriate tactics to “Lead” the country you are voting for the WRONG reason. We have a duty to the future of this country to vote for the people we believe have a forward moving plan, A plan that INCLUDES everyone, a plan that ensures PROSPARITY for everyone, a plan that truly show that America IS a WORLD LEADER and not just the school yard bully. Think about all of that before you vote. Think about all of the people you love and the world you want them to live in.
If you go to your polling place and see voter intimidation or suppression REPORT it. If you feel you have been wrongly denied your right to vote REPORT IT. Let’s show the world that we are a country that wants to lead the world and actually deserves to do it.
Remember no matter what your party affiliation or who you support DO NOT advertise it at the polling place this is known as electioneering and you will be asked to leave because it is illegal.
