For the past 24 years, Peace Over Violence has run its Denim Day campaign on a Wednesday in April in honor of Sexual Violence Awareness Month. The campaign was originally triggered by a ruling by the Italian Supreme Court where a r**e conviction was overturned because the justices felt that since the victim was wearing tight jeans she must have helped her ra**st remove her jeans, thereby implying consent. The following day, the women in the Italian Parliament came to work wearing jeans in solidarity with the victim.

We wear denim with a purpose to support survivors! We wear denim to remind ourselves and those around us that clothing does NOT equal consent.

Come join the Harley Girls this Saturday starting at the Idaho Center for the Ride for 22 - 9th Annual Veterans Su***de Awareness Rally Event!

***Each Day a Average of 20+ Veterans and 1 Active Service Member Dies By Su***de Everyday. We seek to serve as a living Memorial to our Fallen, increase public knowledge, and raise Awareness of PTSD.***

THIS IS A FAMILY FRIENDLY COMMUNITY EVENT. All motorcycles welcome. Non-Riders are also welcome.
Registration is $15 per ride card

There will be live music, food, coffee, and a bar. Bike route is Nampa, Melba, Kuna, ending in Meridian at HD. Kickstands up at 11am!

I’ll be at the Idaho Center from 8:00am - 10:30am and then you can catch me at High Desert Harley Davidson in Meridian from 1:30pm - 3:30pm
