Hi friends! We have 11 families signed up for Mini Sessions for Micah 🎉

We understand that not everyone is into photo sessions, so we brainstormed other ways you can support the Moore family. We’re teaming up with Ashley Monreal (ashtees_boutique on Instagram) to design and make the shirts once we gather orders!

If you have any other ideas on how we can raise money for the Moore family, please reach out.

If you’re having issues accessing the Venmo through the QR code, here is the username.. — if you don’t have Venmo and want to donate, message me and we can arrange that!

This community is amazing and shows up for our own ❤️

❤️ MINI SESSIONS FOR MICAH 💙

As many of you may know, Wyll and Cheyann Moore, prepared to welcome their sweet Micah Jo into this world knowing that he had Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome (HLHS) discovered in an ultrasound early on in the pregnancy.

At just 6 months old, Micah has already faced more challenges than most people will in a lifetime. He has shown incredible strength, resilience, and determination every single day.

As a small community, we look after our own. Wyll and Cheyann are going through the unimaginable. They had to relocate to Salt Lake, UT to get Micah the best care possible. Being one of the best children’s hospitals in the area, getting hospital housing is hard to come by. They’ve been having to stay in Airbnbs and hotels. Wyll’s employer has been very accommodating, but he’s required to return back at the end of the month. He’ll then be going back and forth between Idaho and Utah, as his schedule allows.

The financial burden this brings should to be the least of their worries. Micah has fought from Day 1 and continues to do so each and every day. There’s still a lot of uncertainty and a long road ahead. Let’s come together and show this family the love and support I know this community has.

On July 18th, Megan Ryska Photography and Nicole Hansen Photography will be offering donation-based mini photo sessions at Jump Creek to help support the Moore family during their journey.

📸 Mini Sessions
📍 Jump Creek
📅 July 18
❤️ CASH Donation-Based (Please keep in mind that the value of this mini session is $225, so please be considerate of that. We’re trying to raise as much money as we can for the Moore family. We’d like to see a donation of at least $100, but give what you’re led and able to do)
💯 All proceeds will go directly to the Moore family

If you’ve been wanting updated family photos, this is a wonderful opportunity to capture memories while supporting a local family who could use our community’s love and encouragement.

Can’t make a session? Donations are also welcome.

Let’s come together to show Micah, Cheyann, Wyll & Atreus, and family that they aren’t fighting alone. ❤️

My investment/mindset as a photographer 🤟🏼 Being a business owner, with a HUGE heart, caring personality and wanting to make everyone happy... this side of it is the HARDEST. The uncomfy, nitty gritty, am I even making money?? Kind of thing 😂

This little bear cub was so precious 🐻 It was my first outdoor newborn session (weather was in our favor) and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out! I had 6 newborn sessions this month.. so prepare your ovaries for all the cuteness 🤭

I love letting kiddos be themselves during family sessions. Ditch the ‘expectation’ of perfect, forced, awkward poses. Let your family be in their element. The kid’s eyes lit up when I asked if they wanted to throw rocks into the water. Or spin around in mom’s arms. When I was taking pictures of mom and dad, we all looked over at the kids just plopped down pulling brush and laughing. Those are the moments I love documenting most. The in between moments are the most cherished at the end of the day. Let them express their personalities. This session was all of that and more. I can’t believe this is my job!!

This little guy stole my heart during this session!

If you could please pray for a miracle for this sweet boy and/or send healing vibes his way! He needs all the love and prayers right now. More specifically, his lungs. This little guy is such a fighter, praying for his strength! You are one of the strongest mamas I know, my friend 🤍 Love you all SO much 🤟🏼 You are all loved and we’re here for you.

It’s not about perfectly posed smiles or everyone looking at the camera at the same time. It’s about this—arms wrapped tight, little hands reaching, laughter that can’t be contained, and the way they naturally lean into each other.

Let them be little. Let them be wiggly, loud, snuggly, and completely themselves. Because those are the moments that matter—the real ones, the in-between ones, the ones that feel like home.

And sometimes, it’s about honoring the ones who should be in the frame, too. The baby brother they carry with them always—spoken in quiet moments, worn close to the heart, and remembered in the smallest, most meaningful ways. A love that didn’t get the time it deserved here, but will forever be part of their story.

You don’t have to prepare your kids to be perfect for photos. Just show up, love them well, and let them be exactly who they are in this season. I’ll take care of the rest—freezing these fleeting, beautiful moments so you can hold onto them forever 🤍

It’s so special to me when I get to capture every milestone for families that have been with me from the start 🤍
