Recently I had a gal approach me to do a business collaboration. I was really excited about it. I was hesitant in getting too excited because she mentioned buying a machine and was asking me questions about that. I answered her honestly. But I couldn't help get super excited. I sent her ideas for us to do and told her how it would work together.

Well, as I had suspected, she went out and bought a machine instead of our 'collaboration' and is now saying she can embroider after having it for only two days. Even after embroidering for over two years, I still learn something new almost every time I turn my machine on. I guess the best thing about this is that it is just a small niche. She makes Christmas stockings and I was going to embroider on them. She can't do what I could have done to them. It just makes me sad that she pretended to want to work with me.

I am very passionate about embroidery. Even though I don't make much money from it, I really enjoy creating things and then seeing the look of joy on the recipient's face is just the best ever. I try to make it affordable as possible because I want to share that enjoyment with everyone.

New countdown to Christmas decoration. This is my first stitch out of the design, so it is a bit rough. Next one will be much cleaner. Making a few changes :-) And yes as of today, that number is correct (81 days!!).

New ornament for any time of the year. I am going to add the year to the star. Great for a new baby gift tag, Christmas or just because gift.

Is there any interest in Christmas stockings like these? With names embroidered on them, of course.

Oh, goodness. A new toy for me to dream about. How would you like your shoes embroidered on?? No more sharpie marker! Have your initials fancy monogrammed on them! I think it would be pretty darn cool myself!
