Must have strong computer skills and be able to balance the day in multiple software systems. Previous experience with housing programs such as Tax Credit Program, HUD or USDA Rural Development preferred. Detail oriented individual to supervise tenant compliance with Tax Credit and Federal regulations. Maintain database of tenant information and tenant files, submit government payments.

The Accounting Specialist is responsible for accurate accounts payable processes for multiple properties.
Successful Candidate will have:
• Previous Accounts Payable or related experience working vendor base and recording transactions.
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Must have firm knowledge of AP and financial concepts
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong computer literacy including Microsoft Office applications
• Exceptional multitasking and organizational skills
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Physically able to work seated or standing in front of a computer for long hours at a time
