Riverstone Structural Concepts

On January 1st, 2024, I handed over the leadership torch to my business partner and friend, Jake Timmons. I started Riverstone Structural Concepts in 2007 with the intention to provide a service that no one else could provide. We did that and ended up becoming an industry leader in providing structural engineering services through the ArchiCAD BIM modeling platform. Jake had a crucial role in developing the technology and engineering efficiency of our company. It is time for me to transition into a new role where I will be able to pursue different goals while having the flexibility to spend more time with my family and focus on my health. I know that Jake and the Riverstone team will continue to shake up the industry and provide outstanding service to existing and future customers. I will be in an advisory position to the company during this transition. Thank you all for letting me be a part of this journey. I wish everyone the best of luck in 2024!

Wood is going up at the Home 2 Suites hotel in San Jose, California!

It has been a while since I was the lead engineer on one of our custom home projects. I had the good fortune to work with Farmer | Payne Architects on this beautiful home in the Sun Valley area. They have begun work, I can't wait to see the finished product! Thank you for letting us be on the design team!

The Brook Street Loft Apartments located in Woodbridge, New Jersey, is underway! This four story wood apartment over two-story concrete podium was designed by Kitchen and Associates. This project was designed with architect/mep/structural all collaborating in the ArchiCAD three-dimensional modeling program.

The Center of Hope project in Redding, California, is gaining ground. Very challenging but cool design to be a part of, well done Jake Timmons and Team Riverstone. It was a pleasure to collaborate with our friends from Lochsa Engineering as well, we can't wait to see the finished product.

Riverstone Structural Concepts is excited to collaborate with Studio G Architecture on this modern Multi-use project located in my hometown of Las Vegas, Nevada! This project will utilize steel modular units for residential, office, retail, and entertainment facilities. A pre-cast concrete parking structure will also be home to the community pool. Structural elements will be modeled in three-dimensions and structural documentation will be delivered through the client’s virtual model.

Riverstone Structural Concepts is excited to partner with Relativity Architects on this worthwhile project in Los Angeles, California. This 6-story mixed-use building will provide affordable housing for families and people with disabilities experiencing chronic homelessness.
