Welcome to Circular Creations. I turned my first project over 60 years ago. Creative wood turnings.

Now retired, I participate in local and regional markets: Boise City Market, Art and Roses, Nampa/Boise Christmas shows, Roseberry, Ketchum, and Meridian Art Festivals.

I have two new walnut bowls that were great for doing my version of kintsugi. I used turquoise and brass on the first one and just brass on the second. The first three photos are the 10” by 3”. And, the last two are the 11” by 4” bowl.

I turned my first purpleheart dot bowl several years ago in an attempt to turn something different. I sold it at the market the second time I showed it. Since then I have always had one or two in inventory. Here’s my most recent one. 8” by 4.5”.

This is a piece of Bradford pear that had some cosmetic flaws develop during the drying process. I added a piece of sapele for a rim and some beads shadowed with friction burn to enhance the appearance. 7” by 4”.

I’ll have this piece along with other new turnings this Saturday at the Capital City Public Market.
