Thank you Molina Healthcare of Idaho for partnering with us on this needed project! Our Wheel Fix It mobile unit is gaining popularity and we are so grateful!
This July, Molina Healthcare of Idaho is recognizing Disability Independence Day by highlighting local partnerships that help Idahoans with disabilities live independently and stay connected to their communities.
Through our ongoing partnership with LINC, we funded a $20,000 mobile equipment repair trailer and DIY repair space, expanding access to timely repairs for wheelchairs, scooters and other mobility devices.
We also support community efforts like Meals on Wheels Metro Boise’s March for Meals walk, which raises awareness of food insecurity among seniors and connects individuals, including those living with disabilities, to nutritious meals and social support.
One in three Idahoans live with a disability, underscoring the need for practical programs that advance independence access. As we observe the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, Molina continues to invest in community-based solutions that help Idahoans with disabilities live and participate fully in their communities.
