It takes a village to build something truly meaningful. On May 14th, we celebrated the ribbon cutting at Ragsdale Apartments — a community rooted in the historical significance of its location and brought to life by the passion of an extraordinary team committed to building in one of our own hometowns. From the first shovel in the ground to the final finish, this project is a testament to what is possible when the right people come together with a shared vision. We are deeply grateful for every partner, builder, designer, and leader who made Ragsdale a reality.

In recognition of Denim Day, Hawkins employees wore denim to support the global movement dedicated to supporting survivors of sexual assault and raising awareness through education and advocacy. What began in 1999 as a local protest has grown into a worldwide reminder that clothing is never an excuse for assault—only a call to stand together in promoting a culture of consent, respect, and compassion.
We are grateful to our employees who participated and helped amplify this important message. By taking part, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a safer, more understanding community for all. Earlier this week, a few members of our Hawkins team had the pleasure of attending the Daffodil Tea Party hosted by the Salvation Army in celebration of the 105th anniversary of its Booth Program! The Booth Program partners with Cardinal Academy to support teen and young adult parents in earning their high school diploma or GED. In addition to educational support, the program helps students manage the responsibilities of parenting by equipping them with essential life skills. This includes childcare services, teaches budgeting and family development, and provides relevant job training. We are proud to be a sponsor of such a meaningful cause each year!
