produced one of the wildest saves ever seen at the Isle of Man TT during the 2017 Senior TT after nearly losing control at Ballagarey Corner, one of the fastest and most dangerous sections of the entire course.
At well over 150 mph, Hillier’s Kawasaki violently stepped out as the bike went airborne over the crest yet somehow, he managed to wrestle it back underneath him while the bars were slapping side to side and the rear of the bike was completely unsettled.
The moment happened at Ballagarey, a section riders nickname “Balla-Scary” for obvious reasons. What makes it even crazier is that Hillier stayed in the race and still finished 4th in the Senior TT afterward.
With TT 2026 officially kicking off today, expect another two weeks of insane moments from the world’s most dangerous motorcycle race.

With the world’s deadliest race known as The Isle of Man TT starting this month, here are some of the best flyby moments ever captured from the legendary event. The Isle of Man is located approximately 32 miles (51 km) off the coasts of Scotland and Ireland in the northern Irish Sea.
Bikes ripping through villages at nearly 200 mph, inches from walls, curbs, signs, and spectators. Over 150 riders have lost their lives during the TT races, with more than 280 deaths
recorded on the Mountain Course throughout its history. The speed at the TT is already hard to comprehend, but the flybys capture reactions that make you feel like despite how crazy these videos are, nothing compares to being just inches away.
One small mistake here could very well mean death.
