I know it's literally my business and people are SUPPOSED to order. 😂 But there's still something really bloody cool about seeing an order come through and thinking... wait. You chose something I made.
Not something sitting in a warehouse. Something handmade right here in my sewing room, by me.
That's one of my favorite parts of running a handmade business. Every headband, scrunchie, pouch and little comfort I send out is going to an actual person who chose to support a small business. ❤️
I don't think that'll ever get old. I'll probably still be stupidly excited about order notifications when I'm 80. 😂
Me versus me!

Started sewing because I liked making things.
Somehow that turned into running a whole damn business. 😂
Now I spend my days losing scissors, taking 700 pictures of the same thing, unpicking stitches I literally JUST sewed and having ideas at completely inappropriate times of night.
But then an order comes through.
Or someone sends me a picture wearing something I made.
Or tells me they grabbed one of my headbands because they were running out the door with dirty hair and zero time.
And I’m like...
Yep. This is why I do it. ❤️
It’s chaotic.
I’m still figuring it out.
And apparently I’m going to keep showing up and making things anyway. 😂
Small business owners... please tell me the ONE thing you are constantly losing. Mine is scissors. Always the damn scissors.
Why the business is becoming about more than products.
What’s one cause close to your heart?
Apparently having an idea AND knowing how to sew is a dangerous combination. 😂
Because why did “chicken purse” enter my brain and I immediately think yep… I can make that.
Anyway.
I have a chicken purse now. 😂
What should I make next?
Got everyone ready. Left the house, went to the dentist. Appointments tomorrow 😂 So THATS how my Monday is going. Coffee and back to work we go!
