Last week we had a new activity for the kids, if they could answer class related trivia questions they got to throw a water balloon at me. Nobody missed a question and nobody let up on the throw, all gas and no brake... yes some of them hurt.

Summer's been a blast — but fall is right around the corner, and our Belt Program is officially open for enrollment!

If your camper had a great summer (or if you've been waiting to get them started), the Belt Program is where the real long-term growth happens. Kids work their way up through structured levels — earning belts as they build skills in coding, robotics, game design, and more. It's the same model that makes martial arts so effective for kids: clear progression, real milestones, and a whole lot of pride when they level up. 🥋

A few things to know:

📌 Enrollment is open NOW — spots fill up faster than you'd think

📌 Class lineup is mostly set, but a few classes may still be added or adjusted before the fall kickoff

📌 If your child is brand new to iCode, we'll help you figure out the right starting belt

🍕🎮 Pizza and creating your own video game? Honestly, can't imagine anything better.
This week at iCode Boise has been that good. ✨

Our campers spent the week designing, coding, and building their own video games from scratch — we may have fueled the creative process with a little pizza along the way. 🍕

Watching these kids go from "I have an idea" on Monday to "look at what I built!" on Friday is genuinely the best part of our job. Real focus, real creativity, real wins — and a whole lot of laughs in between.

Huge shoutout to our campers for bringing the energy all week, and to the parents trusting us with your kids' summer.

🏗️✨ From an Empty World to a Full Arcade! ✨🏗️

Take a look at what one of our students created during last week's Minecraft Arcade Makers camp!

Starting with nothing but a blank world, students learned how to build their own Minecraft server from the ground up. They designed a central hub, created custom portals, and connected them to exciting game modes like:

🪂 Dropper Challenges

More than just building, students learned how to plan, create, problem-solve, and bring their ideas to life. The creativity and imagination we saw throughout the week were incredible, and this camp was a huge hit!

🚀 There are still spots available in our upcoming Minecraft Arcade Makers camps, but they won't last long. If your child loves Minecraft and wants to learn how to create their own worlds and games, now is the time to sign up!
