☀️ Day 1 of Summer Camps is in the books! 🎉

The sun is shining, the lab is buzzing, and our first wave of campers hit the ground running this week! 🚀

This week we've got three awesome camps in session:

⚔️ Battle of the Bots: Tournament of Champions — robots are being built, strategies are being plotted, and the competition is already heating up
🟩 Minecraft Camp — worlds are being built, mods are being made, and the creativity is OFF the charts
🎮 Roblox Camp — campers are designing and coding their very own games from scratch

There's nothing better than watching kids get locked in on a project they actually care about — the kind of focus you don't see on a regular school day. This is what summer at iCode is all about. 💙

✨ 3D Printing Camps at iCode Boise — Two Camps, One Awesome Summer!
We're going BIG on 3D printing this summer, with our new Creality Combo Printers kids will go from idea → design → real, physical thing they get to take home. 🚀

🎨 Creative Lab: 3D Printing & Design
📅 June 29 – July 3
The classic that started it all. Campers learn the full design-to-print pipeline — sketching their idea, modeling it on the computer, slicing it, and watching it come to life on the printer. By the end of the week, they walk away with their very own original 3D prints they designed from scratch.

🧊 NEW: 3D Modeling with Blender

A brand-new camp for 2026! Blender is the same professional-grade software used by 3D artists, animators, and game studios around the world — and your kid gets to learn the fundamentals. This is the step beyond beginner design tools, perfect for kids ready to model more complex, detailed, and creative 3D objects.

Every camper in our 3D printing classes gets to pick a print from our online catalog at the end of the week — just for fun, on us. 🎉

🎮 NEW: Minecraft Arcade Makers! 🛠️

If your kid loved our Minecraft Modding Adventure camp — buckle up, because this is the next level.

In Minecraft Arcade Makers, students go from modding to world-building at a whole new scale. They'll learn how to set up and run their own Minecraft server — yes, the kind where players from anywhere in the world can hop on and play together. Then they'll design and code their own mini-games from scratch, including:

⚔️ A PvP battle arena
🏃 A parkour challenge course
🟦 A "floor is lava"-style elimination round (think Fall Guys)
…and more!

This isn't just playing Minecraft — it's building the kinds of experiences other kids pay to play on. Server hosting, game logic, level design, and the problem-solving that comes with running a live multiplayer world.

Our curriculum team poured serious work into this one, and we're genuinely proud of what they built. It's hands-down one of the most ambitious camps we've ever offered — and a huge step up for students who are ready to go from player to creator. 🚀
