Jesse Tree leads the Treasure Valley on preventing eviction and homelessness. https://linktr.ee/jessetreeidaho

Since our founding, Jesse Tree has helped over 27,000 people avoid eviction — more than double the capacity of Extra Mile Arena in Boise.
That’s 24,000 lives kept stable, families kept together, and futures made a little brighter.
This impact is only possible because of our community’s support. Let’s keep that momentum going.

🎉 Yesterday was Jesse Tree’s July staff meeting and as always, it was a great reminder of the heart behind our mission. We came together to share program wins, celebrate team milestones, and stay grounded in the work we’re doing together to keep our neighbors housed.
Grateful for this team and the impact we make every month. 💚

🎈 Today is Be a Kid Again Day — a reminder of what childhood should be: carefree, joyful, and safe.
But for too many kids in Idaho, that joy is replaced by the stress and fear of eviction.
Instead of focusing on school and play, they’re facing sleepless nights and sudden goodbyes.
At Jesse Tree, we work every day to prevent eviction and keep families housed — so children can stay in school, grow in their communities, and just be kids.
Because when families stay housed, childhood stays sacred. 💚

In just one month, we helped 145 families stay in their homes, distributed $145,206.07 in rent assistance, and responded to 1,437 calls and texts from neighbors in crisis.
These numbers represent real people—parents, seniors, and individuals who got to stay safely housed thanks to this community’s support.

Thank you for helping us show up when it matters most. Let’s help make July even more successful!

💚 Taking time to breathe, connect, and create—because balance matters.
Earlier this week, our Community Health Worker organized a self-care break for the Jesse Tree team: a little shade, a few paintbrushes, and a chance to recharge.
Practicing what we preach means caring for our team, too! This is one way we live out our value of balance. 🎨

🎉 One last chance to tip for a cause!
This Wednesday, July 2, Jesse Tree wraps up our time as the featured nonprofit for Alive After Five's Tips for Charities—and we’d love to see you there!
All tips collected during the show support our mission to prevent eviction and keep our neighbors stably housed. Join us on the Grove Plaza for great music and even greater impact. 💚

📅 The first few days of the month are when many tenants receive pay-or-quit notices from their landlords. If you're worried about paying rent or unsure what your notice means, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out on your own.
Jesse Tree’s Tenant Resource Center is here to help with tools, strategies, and guidance to navigate housing challenges before they become a crisis.

When someone reaches out for help, they deserve to be met with dignity, not judgment.
At Jesse Tree, we’re here to listen, support, and walk alongside our neighbors through their hardest moments, because everyone deserves the chance to stay housed and feel seen. 💚

✅ Quiz Answer: B – No!
Getting a 3-day “pay-or-quit” notice doesn’t mean you have to move out immediately. It means your landlord is giving you 3 days to pay what you owe or they may file for eviction in court. You can’t be legally forced to leave your home unless a court orders it.
Thanks for playing, and we enjoyed seeing everyone's responses in the comments of the last post!
