Houseplants aren’t just beautiful air purifiers -- they can actually help us calm down. Researchers have found that simply being around plants can induce our relaxation response. people who entered a room full of plants had a four-point drop in their blood pressure, while a comparison group who didn’t see plants dropped only two points, Prevention magazine reported.

There’s really no such thing as eternal happiness. Even those who are highly self-aware and have nailed the art of Wholehearted Living, will still experience moments of stress, unhappiness and pain. Remove yourself from the stressful situation. This probably sounds like a no-brainer, but you’d be surprised at how often people neglect doing this or feel that they can’t. If, for example, our stress is work related, removing our-self from the situation could be as simple as heading outside on our lunch break to get some fresh air, breathe deeply and recharge.

Instead of burying our feelings deep inside us, start recognizing what our heart, body and mind tells us.

Avoid junk foods, fizzy drinks, caffeine and sugary drinks to save from the unhealthy additions to the body.
