Rowan and Ryan's private vows in B&W

After their sweet and intimate ceremony with their families at Taggart Lake, these two stuck behind and decided to share their vows at one of the most unique spots on the trail surrounded by trees. So many giggles, laughs, and tears with these two, and the rain even held off until the very end of the hike (and yes, we got drenched but it was so worth it! There is something so perfect about a summer sunset. The northern part of the park gets really incredible golden hours, and when we happen to end up on that side of the park as the sun is getting ready to go down, it always makes us so excited. We loved when Ashley and Drew shared their first dance together as the sun began to go down over the mountains, not a soul was around, and everything about this moment was perfect!!

First Looks can be such a precious moment to share with your significant other on your day. With this being said, we totally get if you want to see each other walking down the aisle (whatever that may look like) for the first time, or even get ready together and not have an actual first look, but if you do opt to have one, sometimes it can greatly reduce anxiety on your day, and allows you to be at ease for the rest of your time (aka, not having to wait all the way until your ceremony to see your person!)

We loved that Emily and Austin chose to do their first look at their lodging in the Aspens neighborhood. Usually by late September, this neighborhood is filled with yellow and orange leaves signaling fall, but for some reason, the majority of the trees by their Airbnb were still a beautiful green color. Even with the green leaves, we loved the way the aspens rustled behind them as Emily approached Austin for one of the cutest reactions we've ever seen! We had the best time on their elopement day, adventuring around the park with them. These two even got so lucky to have bison as their witnesses for their ceremony at Mormon Row! Such a beautiful wedding!

Hey friends!! It’s been a while since we introduced ourselves, and we have some exciting news!!

We’re Matt and Lauren, a wedding and elopement photography and video team working out of Jackson Hole and…

WE JUST BOUGHT A VAN!! Yep! 2019 ford transit. We will be van lifers next year. After our busy fall and winter season, we plan to build it out and hit the road next May. We will still be based out of Jackson, but will also be taking on more destination weddings too!

We love all of our couples and are so grateful for anyone who has allowed us to capture special moments in their lives, and cannot wait to capture so many amazing events and landscapes while we are on the road!

Here’s to our busiest but most rewarding season yet, there’s so much we cannot wait to share!!
