Wednesday February 7, Fred Riggers Disability Advocacy Day, is an opportunity for individuals with disabilities, caregivers, families and organizations to go to the State Capitol and advocate just like Fred.

Today we celebrated Fred Riggers Disability Awareness Day at the Capital! Fred Riggers day is a day of recognition in Idaho to celebrate the life and work of disability advocate, Fred Riggers. Fred Riggers attended every legislation he could to advocate for the disabled community. We were grateful to attend and celebrate his legacy!

We are at the Connection is the Cure Event for the second year in a row! Thank you to our board and PAIMI council member for volunteering to help with our booth.

DRI Attorney is representing DRI this week at Accessibility Camp Couer d’Alene, learning all about digital accessibility to better serve Idahoans with disabilities.

The Idaho Statesman is working on a story related to conditions of Idaho schools. They want to hear from families impacted by deteriorating, outdated school buildings here in Idaho.
