I loved going to the cake shop and watching my mother work. Watching slowly turned to helping as I mastered the little tasks around the shop. When someone tells me how amazing my desserts look or taste, I always smile and look back at memories of baking with my mom.

Fourth of July cookies are oddly enough my favorites? I’m not even sure why. The colors are just so beautiful together. These are mini stars that got packaged four to each bag.

My best friend Autumn and I have birthdays four days apart! So we did a cake exchange! I made her a triple strawberry cake: strawberry swirl with strawberry buttercream and a strawberry compote inside. She made me a chocolate with chocolate ganache cake!
