Yesterday, we were approached with a patient with fatal injuries resulting from a gunshot. While this is not a typical injury that we treat at EmergencyMD, we are extremely lucky to have our experienced physicians, Dr. David Brancati and Dr. Christian Montagano, who share over 50 years of combined experience in level 1 trauma and have seen and treated over 5,000 gunshot wound victims over the years. We pray for the family for healing during this difficult time.
