We recently gathered for our annual company Christmas lunch to celebrate our employees over a delicious meal and to do our traditional raffle and gift exchange. We are blessed with an incredible team!

Our team was recently in Monroe, North Carolina for the grand opening of the new Chick-Fil-A Hilltop. Carter Engineering was proud to do the civil engineering for this project, as well as many other new Chick-Fil-A restaurants in the Atlantic Region — including a new forthcoming one under construction on Dale Earnhardt Blvd.

Each quarter, we host a company wide event for our employees — and this time we went back to one of our favorites, a co****le tournament at the office with a food truck brought in for lunch! We enjoyed a delicious meal followed by fierce competition.

Our team has really enjoyed working on The Rose with developers Nick & Dimitri Cassini, renowned golf architect Tripp Davis, consultant Matt Coutu, and the entire development team. The Rose is going to be a world class golf course and facility just outside of Athens, GA.

We were pleased to help our friends at Zaxbys with its recently opened Madisonville, TN location that features Zaxbys new Modern Farmhouse design. It is a 2,100 sq. ft. restaurant with 30 seats for dine-in guests and a new pick-up window and drive-thru for faster service. This is Zaxby’s first location in the Madisonville area and will provide up to 60 new jobs in the area.

Our team always enjoys a good competition. We divided up into four squads and hit the kickball field at The Yard in Watkinsville for a fun Friday afternoon. We also hit the batting cages — and enjoyed lunch together on site.
