We are a family-owned residential & commercial construction company with 25+ years experience, specializing in excavation & grading services & the installation of Insulated Concrete Forms for energy-efficient, durable, and sustainable buildings.
Another couple milestones done at the Oakwood Worship Center project in New Braunfels.
Over the past couple weeks, our crew completed the second lift concrete pour for the pastor’s office area and poured the first floor classroom walls, marking another major step forward on the project.
One of the advantages of building with ICF is the ability to create strong, reinforced walls in stages while maintaining the continuous insulation and structural integrity that make these buildings so durable and energy efficient. Each pour moves the project one step closer to a structure designed for long-term performance, comfort, and resilience.
We’re thankful for the opportunity to be part of a project that will serve its community for years to come.

Today, we remember the men & women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the reason we enjoy freedoms so many take for granted.
Praying for the families carrying the weight of that loss today, and remembering the words of John 15:13: “Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends.”

Galveston Projects in Progress 🌊
Over the past couple of months, we’ve been proud to contribute to several ongoing projects in Galveston for Lux Custom Homes.
At Gaido’s Seaside Inn, our work included constructing concrete columns and beams, followed by the installation of precast concrete roof panels and a concrete cap as part of the lobby expansion.
We also removed a damaged concrete panel and installed a new panel at Nick’s Kitchen & Beach Bar, restoring the front of the structure.
In addition, our team recently formed and poured a portion of a concrete bulkhead along a bayfront residential property we built with ICF last year. Bulkheads play a critical role where land meets water, reinforcing the shoreline edge and protecting against long-term soil movement and coastal conditions. Building in coastal environments requires durable, well-planned structural solutions, and concrete remains one of the most reliable options.
It’s the kind of behind-the-scenes work most people never see, but it’s what makes coastal structures last.

That’s a wrap on this Coastal ICF Home in Galveston, TX
We’ve officially completed the Insulated Concrete Form portion of this beautiful coastal residence. Today’s pour finished out the second-floor ICF walls, marking the final step in our scope of work for this project.
From the foundation up, this home now has strong, energy-efficient ICF walls that will provide lasting protection against the Gulf Coast’s tough elements — from heat to hurricanes.
It’s been a great collaboration with Seaside Construction on a build that truly showcases the durability and versatility of ICF!

✨Gaido’s Seaside Inn Lobby Expansion with LUX Custom Homes✨
Concrete columns going up at Gaido’s Seaside Inn!
Southern ICF has stepped slightly outside the ICF box on this project, partnering with LUX Custom Homes for a lobby expansion at the iconic Gaido’s Seaside Inn in Galveston, TX.
Our scope includes:
✔️ Demo of the existing concrete patio slab
✔️ Digging, forming, and placing rebar for a new foundation
✔️ Pouring concrete columns — which we knocked out this morning
✔️ Prepping for concrete beams and precast concrete roof panels next
It’s a pleasure helping breathe new life into such a well-loved coastal landmark!
