What’s your favorite homemade dogfood recipe for your pups? This costs around $20-25 and lasts a month. Butters eats more food than with his kibble and yet maintains better weight. With his history of ACL issues and dislocations this is also a great recipe for joint health.
Here’s Butter’s second favorite recipe:

Meat/Fish
* 5 lbs chicken leg quarters
* 2½ lbs salmon/steelhead trout
* 1 lb gizzards
* ½ lb hearts

Joint Base
* 2–3 lbs beef knuckle bones → broth only + soft tissue/marrow

Carbs
* 1 lb brown rice cooked in collagen broth

Vegetables
* 1 lb carrots
* 1 lb green beans
* 2 zucchini

Eggs
* 10–12 eggs
* 5 tsp ground eggshell (baked)

Added nutrition
* ½ cup ground sunflower seeds
