Our Story

Our nature -inspired, handcrafted soaps are made from the fresh, vitamin-rich milk of our Nubian dairy goats that graze freely on our small farm here in the Texas Hill Country. Goat's milk contains many vitamins, minerals, and natural alpha-hydroxy acids making it an excellent skin care ingredient and is especially effective on eczema, psoriasis, acne-prone, and sensitive skin. Our soaps are made in small batches using only the purest of ingredients. Each bar of soap contains over one ounce of fresh from the farm goat’s milk. These soaps will not strip your skin's natural moisture, but will cleanse and restore your skin in a gentle and nurturing way.

Growing up as a farm girl in the beautiful Hudson Valley of New York State, Lorie (Allen) Diller grew up drinking raw Jersey milk from their family cow that her dad milked by hand. She was no stranger to the hard work and commitment that went into running a small family farm and also to the healing benefits of raw milk.

It was only during an unexpected season of loss in 2009, that Lorie Diller’s soapmaking journey began. Having suffered the late miscarriage of their 5th son, Jesse, the death of her mother-in-law after a long battle with cancer, and the loss of her husband’s job and subsequent move to Boerne, Texas, soapmaking became a therapeutic way to work through multiple layers of grief. Unbeknownst to the Dillers, the property they purchased in Boerne had once been a Grade A Goat Dairy Farm. They soon purchased their first Nubian goats and began making soap. This creative process was an act of faith in believing life would come from death and beauty from ashes just as soap comes from the lye made from ashes. One of the last things Lorie’s mother-in-law said before she died was that she hoped one day Lorie would have a little girl of her own to love. Four years later, in 2014, Lucy Elizabeth was born to the Diller family. She was due on her grandma Lucille’s birthday. ‘Lucy” means ‘bringer of light’ and ‘Elizabeth’ means ‘promise of God’. Her birth was truly the dawning of a new day and God’s promise of restoration and new life fulfilled. Each bar of soap is made with much love and many prayers nurturing hope for all who use them.
