Sometimes we wait for the perfect moment.
For better circumstances.
For a sign.
Yet most things begin much earlier.
Every dream, every idea, every change was once just a single thought. Something small. Something only we could see. And yet it carried the power to transform an entire life.
What becomes of a thought isn't decided by time.
Not by luck.
Not by the approval of others.
It's decided by the courage to follow it.
Maybe now is the moment to give space to that thought that has been living in my mind, in your mind for weeks, months, or perhaps even years.
The business idea.
The move.
The new beginning.
The conversation you've been postponing.
The life you've quietly imagined for yourself.
Because a thought that wants to fly doesn't need wings.
Only the courage to be free. 🪽🪽

There are certain places that instantly transport you to another era.
That's exactly how I feel every time I step into J.&L. Lobmeyr in the heart of Vienna.
For more than 200 years, J.&L. Lobmeyr has been where light and glass have merged into something extraordinary. What began in Vienna has long since found its way into some of the most beautiful homes, palaces, hotels, and collections around the world. Yet despite its international reputation, walking into the historic store on Kärntner Straße still feels like discovering a hidden jewel.
Behind its rather delicate entrance door lies an entire treasure chamber.
Of course, J.&L. Lobmeyr is best known for its exquisite glassware and breathtaking lighting collections. Whether it's impossibly delicate drinking glasses, hand-cut crystal, chandeliers, or contemporary lighting designs, every piece reflects a level of craftsmanship that feels increasingly rare today. Beyond glass, you'll also find beautiful porcelain objects, trays, decorative accessories, and even my personal favorite Viennese fragrance from Wiener Blut, making every visit feel like a journey through the finest aspects of Austrian design culture.
As much as I admire the collections, I was perhaps even more fascinated by the interior itself.
The timeless display cabinets are original. The magnificent staircase leading to the upper floor is original.
And then there is the mirror. The mirror.
Standing beneath it left me completely speechless. I learned that recreating it today would carry a price tag of approximately €800,000. Looking at the intricate craftsmanship, the engraved details, and the way it reflects light throughout the space, I can absolutely believe it.
It's one of those places where every detail tells a story. Every surface, every fixture feels connected to a legacy that has been carefully preserved for generations.
J.&L. Lobmeyr is more than a store. It's a living piece of Viennese design history and one of those rare places that reminds me why I love design in the first place.

Featured Project: Penthouse in Munich — Minimalism Meets European Drama
This penthouse was a beautiful collaboration of architecture and interior design — bringing together a contemporary spatial concept with a sophisticated, expressive interior.
My contribution focused on shaping the atmosphere and interior character of the home, creating a balance between clean contemporary lines and a more refined, European sense of drama.
Clean lines and a sense of simplicity create the foundation — while bold contrasts, carefully selected materials, and dramatic architectural moments bring personality and depth.
The floating staircase became one of those moments for me. Almost sculptural, it creates movement and turns architecture itself into part of the design.
I love when contemporary interiors don't feel cold or anonymous. For me, minimalism doesn't mean removing personality. It means being intentional — allowing beautiful materials, strong architectural elements, and carefully chosen pieces to truly stand out.
This penthouse became a balance between sleek and expressive, minimal and refined, contemporary and sophisticated. A space with gallery-like serenity, yet enough European drama to make an impression.
Because to me, sophistication isn't about adding more. Sometimes, it's about knowing exactly what deserves to stay. ✨

A beautiful room is wonderful. But for me, it only becomes truly successful when people actually want to live in it.
Can you put your feet up? Curl up with a book? Have friends over without worrying about every cushion? Is there enough storage for the things real life brings? Does the room work just as beautifully on a quiet Sunday morning as it does when the house is full of people?
I love creating spaces that feel refined and elevated, but never untouchable. Luxury should be comfortable. A sofa should invite you to sit down. Materials should feel beautiful to the touch. And a room should support the life happening inside it.
Of course, aesthetics matter deeply to me — probably no surprise there. But beauty and functionality should never have to compete.
The most elegant interiors, in my eyes, are the ones that look beautiful because they are designed around real life.
Because a home isn't a showroom. It's where memories happen. 🤍

Some places don’t just inspire me — they make my mind wander.🌈
My visit to the MAK in Vienna was exactly that. A beautiful mix of art, design, craftsmanship and history that had me completely absorbed — and, as always, thinking about how much our surroundings can feed our own creativity.
I was especially fascinated by Vally Wieselthier and her expressive ceramic sculptures. There is something incredibly powerful about seeing how boldly she pushed the boundaries of ceramics and created something so distinctive within the Wiener Werkstätte.
Then came my little journey through VIENNA 1900 — Everyday — not simply a chronological walk through history, but a fascinating exploration of ideas, design and the people who shaped an entire era. I could have stayed there for hours. I love these little time travels… they make me look at the present differently.
And then: GLANZSTÜCKE by Van Cleef & Arpels. ✨
Quite literally a feast for the eyes. The craftsmanship, materials, colors and forms — and especially the unexpected connections between jewelry and objects from the MAK collection — were incredible.
This is exactly why I love places like the MAK. Art, people, history, craftsmanship and design all start talking to each other — and suddenly, ideas start flowing.
And honestly? That’s when my creative mind is at its happiest. 🤍

I’m drawn to spaces that whisper luxury rather than announce it.
Where softness meets sophistication, and every detail feels intentional.
For me, this is Tranquil Luxury — calm neutral palettes, beautiful textures, sculptural forms and just the right touch of boldness or shine.
I believe less can be so much more. Not empty or predictable, but considered, warm and inviting.
And just like fashion, I’m inspired by timeless elegance — the effortless sophistication of a Dior silhouette, where proportion, restraint and one beautiful detail can make all the difference.
Elegant without being cold.
Luxurious without being excessive.
Minimal without being boring.
I want my interiors to feel beautiful the moment you see them — but even better the longer you stay.

Some cities you visit. Some you remember. And then there are those that slowly get under your skin.
Vienna has done exactly that to me.
Architecture, art, museums, hidden courtyards, beautiful parks, little shops, cafés, fashion, craftsmanship — and all those tiny details that make you stop, look twice and think: I love this.
And of course, I see it all through my designer’s eyes.
A façade becomes a color palette. An old door handle inspires a material combination. A café sparks an idea for atmosphere. A beautiful object makes me imagine where it could live in a room.
Just last Saturday, I found a little treasure at Vienna’s legendary antique market: an Art Nouveau painting dedicated to a couple on their wedding day. But it was actually the old frame that stole my heart — its craftsmanship, its patina, its story.
That’s what I love about Vienna: history meets contemporary, vineyards meet urban life, old craftsmanship meets young creative energy.
And recently I chose this beautiful city as my new home.
I already know that so much of what I discover here will find its way into my design — because inspiration is everywhere when you keep your eyes and heart open.
So… welcome to my Vienna Edit. 🤍

Since moving to Vienna, I’ve been looking at this (non)trend through a slightly different lens.
Vienna is not a city that tries to impress with shiny skyscrapers or futuristic architecture. And maybe that’s exactly what I love about it.
It has history, layers, imperfections and stories everywhere you look — in the façades, the old doors, the stone, the parquet floors, the brass details. And somehow, it still feels young, stylish and very much alive.
That made me think about one of the things I increasingly love in interiors: materials that are allowed to live.
Unlacquered brass that slowly deepens with every touch.
Bronze that becomes richer with age.
Raw oak with its natural grain and little imperfections.
Stone that develops its own character rather than looking perfectly untouched.
To me, this is where luxury becomes much more interesting.
Not everything needs to be pristine, polished and brand new. I actually love when a material tells you that it has been there — and will be there for a very long time.
It’s a little like Vienna: Grounded. Elegant. Warm. Cultured.
I’ve always believed that a home should feel collected rather than simply decorated. Materials with texture, depth and a story make that possible. They bring warmth into a space and create the kind of quiet richness that doesn’t need to announce itself.
And perhaps that’s why it feels so right to me — especially here in Vienna. 🤍

Six years later, I came back to Lanserhof Tegernsee.
There is something almost magical about being here that makes me slowly come back to myself.
What makes the Lanserhof Concept so special to me? It doesn’t look at a person in pieces. It considers body, mind and soul as one — combining modern medicine with natural healing approaches, individual diagnostics, nutrition, movement and regeneration.
And I can honestly say: it works.
Everything here feels so incredibly coherent.
The architecture gently disappears into the Tegernsee landscape. The rooms are spacious and beautifully reduced, with natural materials and soft, muted tones. Nothing unnecessary, nothing distracting. Just enough.
The food… I enjoyed every bite of the Energy Cuisine, including a cooking class where I could experience some of it myself — with ingredients from the resort’s own permaculture garden.
I breathed in the mountain air on my meditation walk across the meadows, wandered through the permaculture garden, touched and smelled the herbs, watched bees and butterflies, and simply allowed myself to be there.
The treatments... a detox lymphatic wrap followed by a bath (my absolute highlight!), a wonderfully therapeutic massage, and plenty of moments of doing absolutely nothing.
And then, of course, there was the other side of me: getting up at sunrise and pushing myself on the treadmill in the gym, followed by a bioimpedance measurement and metabolic analysis. Because apparently even my retreat-self needs a little challenge. 😉
And once again, I was lucky enough to have Dr. Mathias Greiner looking after me — an exceptional physician, but even more than that, a truly wonderful human being.
I left feeling lighter. Clearer. Recharged.
Almost as if someone had pressed a little reset button — from the inside out.
I am deeply grateful for this time, for every single person who took care of me, and for the opportunity to experience this very special place again.
Six years later, Lanserhof brought me back to myself.
And I already know one thing:
I’ll be back. For sure. 🤍

There is something about a neutral interior that instantly makes me breathe a little deeper.
Sand, warm beige, creamy whites, soft taupe and light woods create that quiet feeling I love so much — elegant, timeless and calm, without ever feeling cold or predictable.
For me, neutrals are never about playing it safe. Quite the opposite. They give me the perfect canvas to bring in depth, personality and a little bit of magic through materials and details.
Linen, bouclé, natural stone, aged wood, ceramics… I love how every material catches the light differently and brings its own character into the room. Add a beautiful sculptural shape, a touch of metal or perhaps one of my beloved rich jewel tones, and suddenly the softness has dimension.
That’s what I love about neutral interiors: they whisper, but they never have to be boring.
They create the calm foundation I’m always looking for — a sense of serenity and balance, while leaving enough room for personality, texture and emotion to shine through.
To me, that is Tranquil Luxury. 🤍
