Every week, payroll goes out before the client invoice comes in. π₯
A staffing agency had steady contracts and growing placement volume β but the math that scares most lenders away: payroll for hundreds of workers hits every week, while client payment terms stretch out 30-45 days behind it. On paper, thin margins against high payroll volume. In practice, a business that had never missed a payroll run in years.
π Deal Highlights:
- Industry: Staffing / Workforce Solutions
- Advance: $182,000
- Use of funds: Payroll coverage + onboarding costs for new placements + working capital cushion
- Time to fund: 10 hours from application to cash in the account
- Structure: 12-month term - total Interest forgiveness when paid early
- Approved despite thin margins on paper β underwritten on revenue consistency and client contract volume, not the margin percentage alone
Payroll-heavy doesn't mean high-risk when the track record backs it up. Got a file that got declined on industry alone? Send it our way. π©

Six decades in business. A credit score in the 600s. A contract about to change everything. π₯
An established healthcare provider β doing over $24 million a year β had just signed a new contract expected to add $10-12 million a month in revenue. Real growth, real opportunity, but a credit score in the mid-600s is exactly the kind of thing that gets a file passed over by lenders looking at the score before the business. Our Funding Specialist, Ernest, looked at the whole picture instead β and got it done.
π Deal Highlights:
- Industry: Healthcare
- Time in Business: 66 years
- Advance: $200,000
- Use of funds: Working capital
- Time to fund: 27 hours from application to funding
- Approved on the strength of a well-run, established operation β not just a credit score
- Already discussing a second round as the new contract ramps up
Sixty-six years in business β and even though they're navigating a recent ownership change and some hardships that had banks unwilling to touch them, we didn't hesitate. This is exactly the kind of deal we love at our subsidiary, Lanam Business Funding.

A holding company, multiple operating entities, and an existing SBA lien β nothing about this deal was simple.
π A light manufacturing company wanted to purchase the building it had been leasing for years and add a new production line. However, the company structure and assets were split across a holding entity and two operating entities. An existing SBA loan also had a lien on the company's assets that needed to be addressed before financing could move forward.
That complexity is exactly why two banks passed on the deal before it landed with us.
π Deal Highlights:
- Industry: Manufacturing / Light Industrial
- Loan Amount: $2,850,000
- Use of Funds: Building acquisition + new production line equipment
- Structure: 20-year term, 9.75% fixed interest rate, monthly amortizing payments
- Resolved: Existing SBA lien subordination + consolidation of holding and operating entities into a single borrowing structure
- Underwriting to Funding: 9 weeks
- Outcome: Building purchase closed, and the new production line is installed and operational!
Some deals just need more structure β and more patience β to get right. This was one of them.

$175,000 funded β with the flexibility to pay it off early and dramatically reduce the cost.
A construction-related business needed working capital to take on a large project scheduled to be completed before the end of the year. Instead of locking them into the full cost of an 18-month term, we secured a structure that rewards them for paying it off early.
π Deal Highlights:
- Funding: $175,000
- Term: 18 months
- Early payoff: 100% interest forgiveness on future interest
- Cost of capital: Approximately 2% per month while the funds are outstanding
- Expected payoff: Before the end of the year
- Estimated total cost if paid off as planned: Approximately 6β8%
- Future flexibility: Once repaid, they can potentially access the financing again when needed
The result? They have the capital to complete a major project now, with the ability to pay the balance off when the project wraps up β without being stuck paying the full 18-month cost.
It provides some of the flexibility businesses look for in a line of credit, without going through the same qualification process.
Need capital for your next big project?

More drivers. More vehicles. Ready to roll for the new school year.
A Massachusetts transportation company serving county and city programs and facilities was labeled simply as βtransportationβ on paper β a category that often gets lumped in with trucking and logistics, leading to declines before anyone looks deeper.
But this wasnβt a freight business. The company operates a fleet of drivers, buses, and vans serving municipal and school contracts. With the new school year approaching, they needed capital to scale quickly while managing the standard 60β90 day payment cycle on municipal invoices.
π Deal Highlights:
- Industry: Passenger transportation β municipal & school contracts
- Funding: $1,250,000
- Use of funds: Additional driver payroll, vehicle deployment costs, and working capital
- Time to fund: 3 business days from application to funding
- Structure: Weekly payments β 18-month term
- Key to approval: Underwritten based on the companyβs actual revenue profile and stable, recurring municipal contract income β not a generic industry label
We got them the financing they needed, right on schedule for the new school year.
$1.25 million funded. π
