Over the past year, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside Foundation Academy across three campuses to strengthen safety and preparedness through hands-on training, emergency response planning, Emergency Response Team development, enhanced drills and documentation, and executive safety coaching.

More than 200 employees have been trained, but what makes this partnership meaningful goes beyond the numbers.

It is the continued commitment to prepare, evaluate, strengthen, and improve.

And the work continues.

Today, we are honoring the retirement of our colleague and friend, Michael Lopinot. Michael is closing the chapter on an incredible career that spanned decades of dedicated service—first in military and law enforcement as a police officer, and then as an invaluable member of the Guardian Defense family.

Whether he was navigating high-stress situations in uniform or guiding our clients through complex safety protocols, Michael was consistently known for his unwavering dedication and his remarkably calm demeanor. He has been a steady presence for all of us, and his leadership, professionalism, and integrity have left a lasting impact on our team and the citizens he served.
