Let’s talk dryer vents! Are your clothes taking more than one cycle to dry? Did you know that not only do you need to clean out your lint screen with every load, but you also need to clean your dryer vent AT LEAST once a year. This should not only help to lower your electric bill, but could also save your life. According to the U.S. Fire Administration's National Fire data center, dryers are responsible for over 15,000 fires a year. About 80% of those fires start with clogged dryer vents.

It's here!! The first day of sweater weather. Now is a good time to make sure your heat is working. If you smell a slight burning odor don't worry it is probably only dust particles that have settled on the heater coil over the past year.
