Check-out books and other copyrighted content with CDL (Controlled Digital Lending) by DLSG.
Students simply click a link in their online classroom (any LMS, like Canvas, Moodle, Sakai, ...), their library's ILS, LibGuide, etc. to check-out digital content. Our CDL solution delivers copyrighted content on our MyDocs app (it's free) with built-in digital rights management.
View the content like a standard PDF --- OR --- use the study tools included in the MyDocs app (e.g. audio playback, 'smart' highlighting, custom flash cards, highspeed SKIM for print challenged users, OER access, and more) for a truly TRANSFORMATIVE study experience!
Once you check-out digital content, you don't even need internet access to study, so you can study ANYWHERE !
Controlled Digital Lending by DLSG. In this video we'll show you how to simply click a link in your Learning Management System (LMS) - in this case, Canvas, to digitally check-out copyrighted content from your university library.
You'll see how the content is delivered in the MyDocs app (it's free), which include digital rights management. Just view the content as you would any PDF, or you can use MyDoc's built-in study tools, --like read-along audio, flash cards, and SKIM for print-challenged users -- for a TRANFORMATIVE study experience!

Emojis and clipart are certainly not essential for education or research, but they're fun! - and this KIC feature is very much appreciated by many.
Other types of annotations, like adding citations simply by scanning a book's ISBN, are definitely essential! KIC scanning systems do that and much more.
