The creation of Saladino Dance Productions, now Saladino Productions, Inc., was based on the success of Rome's song and dance revue, "Singin’ and Dancin’ in the Rain," a tribute to the legendary Gene Kelly. “The emphasis was to take something classic and add a new twist to it,” says Rome. And this is exactly what he has done in his "Singin’ and Dancin’ in the Rain." Rome exults. As Gene himself says in the Gershwins’ tune, "I Got Rhythm"
