Celebrating the Life of Diane Jacoby

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Diane Jacoby, who peacefully passed away on Sunday at the age of 96.

A breast cancer survivor, former executive legal secretary, and longtime Palm Beach resident, Diane lived a life filled with grace, resilience, and elegance. She attended the University of Miami before moving to New York, where she met the love of her life, the late Dr. Robert "Dr. Bob" Jacoby. Together, they built a wonderful life before settling in Palm Beach in 1971, where Diane volunteered for many years as a receptionist with the Palm Beach Police Department.

Known for her timeless style, Diane often described herself as "classy, sexy, and sharp." She believed that fashion reflected a person's life and character, but those who knew her best will remember her even more for her kindness, confidence, warmth, and unforgettable spirit.

Our hearts are especially with Ellen Jacoby, who also suffered the heartbreaking loss of her beloved three-month-old puppy, THEO, in a tragic accident the very same day.

While we mourn Diane's passing, we find comfort knowing she has been reunited with her beloved husband, Dr. Bob. Their love story continues, and her remarkable legacy will live on through the many lives she touched.

Rest in peace, Diane. You will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
