Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners under the direct supervision of Dermatologists, Facial Plastic Surgeons, Oculoplastic Surgeons, and Plastic Surgeons commonly assist in cosmetic medicine and surgery. Frequently, however, they are called upon to do this with little or no formal cosmetic education. Lennox PA-C, who founded and directed the Aesthetic Extender Symposium, LLC (AES™), believes that by educating and training extenders, "we can improve the care of cosmetic patients and the productivity of the extenders."

SkinSpirit brought the energy with a full-on Trampoline Fitness sesh, complete with a juice cart stocked for glow-ups and totes that said it best: "It's a good day to glow." Dozens of extenders bounced, jumped, and sweat it out together under the chandeliers because wellness at AES isn't just clinical, it's community.

Dr. David Goldberg looks back on how AES started: Krystie Lennox, a physician assistant right here in Boca Raton, saw a gap in the industry. There was no high-quality training ground for NPs and PAs in aesthetic medicine, so she built one. Now it's the largest gathering of extenders in the space.
From one small meeting to a movement almost two decades strong. That's the AES story.
