Tri-County Animal Rescue is a 100% no kill, nonprofit 501(c)3 animal shelter based in Boca Raton, Florida. Our goal is to prevent the killing of over 170,000 unwanted pets in Broward, Miami-Dade, and Palm Beach counties each year. Since 1996, we have saved over 100,000 domestic animals from being euthanized. We also work with several local organizations and the local school district to educate the community on animal awareness. At Tri-County Animal Rescue, we believe that every animal deserves to live a happy and healthy life. Our mission aims to shelter and provide a comfortable home for all of the animals that are placed in our facility. We consider each cat and dog a member of our family, loving and caring for them with the utmost respect and tenderness until we can place them in their safe, happy, forever home. Every day, we witness animals who were once in despair, stray, neglected, abused, malnourished, or unwanted—leaving our care as happy, healthy animals. To see them walk out of our doors as completely changed animals is a joy that is difficult to express.

🛏️ WE NEED DOG BEDS! 🐾❤️
With 20 new dogs arriving at Tri-County Animal Rescue this week, we’re in need of small and medium dog beds to help make everyone a little more comfortable.
For a dog who has just arrived at a shelter, having a soft, cozy spot of their own can mean so much. It gives them somewhere to curl up, decompress, feel safe, and begin adjusting to their new surroundings.

It’s only Thursday… and it has already been a BUSY week at Tri-County Animal Rescue! ❤️🐾
20 NEW DOGS!!
Some are already here, while others are still arriving. Each one will need time to get settled, be medically evaluated, processed, spayed or neutered, and given everything they need before they’re ready to head home.
More details and introductions are coming soon, but we wanted to make you smile this morning knowing one very important thing: These dogs are SAFE. ❤️

We’re doing some much-needed work around Tri-County Animal Rescue, and we have a large amount of old cabinets, shelving and wood that need to be removed from our property.
We received a quote of more than $600 just to haul everything away. To us, $600 isn’t just a removal bill, it’s money that could go toward medical care, food, medication and lifesaving treatment for a shelter animal who needs us. ❤️🐾
Can you help us haul it away? Maybe you own a junk removal company, have a trailer or truck, or know someone who would be willing to donate their time and help us get this cleared out.

🐾 Happy Labor Day from all of us at Tri-County Animal Rescue!
Today is a day to celebrate hard work and around here, there’s a whole lot of it happening every single day. From cleaning kennels and preparing meals to giving medications, walking dogs, comforting scared animals and finding forever homes, we are so grateful for the incredible people who make our mission possible. ❤️
Our shelter is closed today and will reopen tomorrow at 9:00 AM.
We hope you have a safe and happy Labor Day, and we can’t wait to see you tomorrow! 🐶🐱❤️
