Our Bidenomics Report Card tracks six metrics using data provided by Moody’s Analytics: total employment, manufacturing employment, real earnings adjusted for inflation, exports, the stock market’s performance, and GDP growth per capita. In each of those categories, we compare performance under the current president with seven prior presidents going back to Jimmy Carter in the 1970s at the same point in their first term. Vincent Van Gogh’s final days were spent in Vernon up a narrow set of stairs in a tiny room. He spent much of his time when not painting, in a small restaurant at the bottom of those stairs.
After he died by su***de, he was buried a few hundred yards away.
The bottles, flower, car, etc. were seen on my way to his apartment and cemetery.

More good news about inflation.
“It’s knives out for US retailers, with Walgreens being the latest to cut prices on thousands of its products to stay competitive.”
“In the past week, Amazon said it was slashing grocery prices at its Fresh chain by up to 30% to lure back inflation-weary customers.
Aldi has begun reducing prices on more than 250 items, which the grocery chain says will pass along $100 million in savings to customers.”

People vote with their feet and retailers are forced to adjust.

This may be a sign that inflation is cooling:

“Target unveiled a plan on Monday to slash prices on 5,000 items like milk, meat, and bread.
The company has already lowered prices on about 1,500 items, and this will continue into the summer.”

Getting ready to hear a concert by the great Grace Kelly! I found her on YouTube and my band does a couple of her arrangements. Check her out. 

This is unbelievable. I went for a prescription at Walgreens and was greeted with a sticker-shock price of $860. I pulled up my GoodRx app and found it at CVS for $43. I don’t know how this insanity works, but this GoodRx system is incredible!
