Went "Stepping Out" last night to the wonderful "Changing Lives" Annual Celebration. The evening included a Buffet Dinner with tastes of Italy & Asia (a HUGE sushi boat), Open Bar, silent & live auction, casino games (poker, roulette and blackjack), fashion show and live singers! Thank you to hosts Marta & Jim Batmasian, Lesly Morales and All at Changing Lives, dedicated to enriching the lives of homeless men and women in our area. This non-profit organization transforms lives from hopelessness to hopefulness and independent living. ChangingLivesUSA.org

Went "Stepping Out" to the theatre tonight and Halloween at The Wick Theater means costumes and candy at Intermission! What fun!!

The new issue of Simply the Best magazine is out and I'm so proud to say that I'm still writing for them...since 2008! 17 years! I still love this chic, posh, gorgeous magazine AND my writing job. Check out my 3 stories just published in this new November/December issue that includes a Spa, and 2 Restaurant Reviews!! Did I say I love this writing job? Yes! Yay!

I went "Stepping Out" tonight to The Parker in Ft. Lauderdale to see "Master Chefs All Star! Live!" Cooking demos on stage and then final challenge to choose the best Master Chef. Opening video by Master Chef Gordon Ramsey showing how to make perfect scrambled eggs.

I was so pleased with our Stepping Out Florida Rosh Hashanah Holiday Dinner for Singles! Since The Pavilion closed this past May, we held the dinner at Toojay's in Boca. It was a pleasure to have Elizabeth Stark Perez, former owner of the Pavilion as my guest tonight. The traditional foods were delicious and included a complimentary glass of holiday wine. I also provided gifts to each guest: a complimentary facial at Kibali Med Spa for every woman and my company logo designed pens for every man. I also popped open a bottle of Champagne called "One Hope" which I purchased at Trish McGibbon's charity event to benefit ovarian cancer. Last, a shout out to Toojay's General Manager, Matt Hollis, for helping to make the event a success. Thanks to everyone who attended and Happy, Healthy and Sweet New Year to all!

I went "Stepping Out " to 3 fabulous events today! First: to see the film "Downton Abbey: The Grand Finale" at The Movies of Delray and then after, to The Gala at the beautiful "Alice's Teapot Cafe" also in Delray. Wow! Both are not to be missed!!

I went "Stepping Out" to BRIC, The Boca Raton Innovation Campus for Food & Fun!! This is The Great Chef's Tailgate Showcase with many restaurants competing for the best tailgate recipes for The Boca Bowl game on December 23 at FAU. (Thanks to Paige Kornblue for her excellent work on this event)

I went "Stepping Out" today to a fabulous Fashion Show & Luncheon (with 27 beautiful Raffle Prizes,) all for a Fundraiser to benefit "Women in Distress" held at Temple Beth Am in Margate. Bravo to Chairperson Lorraine Ornstein Westreich who grew this event from 100 guests last year to 200 today! What fun also to buy discounted clothes, purses and jewelry from "Blooming Sales" Thrift Shop (located on N. State Road 7 in Margate) all for a good cause!

I went "Stepping Out" today with a friend to an annual favorite event: "The Generous Pour" at Capital Grille for my 9th year in a row! For $45 with lunch or dinner, you get to taste 6 different award-winning wines, and these were called "Icons of the Vine"!! Awesome, as always!
