We’re gaining a little ALTITUDE for our next CreativeMornings Palm Beach talk.

Join us Friday, October 2, as we head to Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton with aerospace entrepreneur, pilot, drone technology expert, and TEDx speaker Juan Plaza.

As CEO of Boca Raton-based Plaza Aerospace, Juan has spent his career looking at the world from above, working at the forefront of aviation and emerging flight technologies, and exploring how drones and autonomous aircraft are changing the way we see and navigate our world.

For October’s global theme of ALTITUDE, we’ll take a look at what becomes visible when we change our vantage point and see things from a little higher up.

Meet Bethanie Irons, who illustrated our CURRENT theme for September! She is drawn to the tactile possibilities of painting, sculpture, installation, and design.

Bethanie shared the following reflection on her illustration for this month’s theme: ​​

“This illustration is my visual response to the theme of “Current.”

A fractured hourglass anchors the composition, its broken form releasing a slow stream of objects tied to time, direction, and creativity.

Rather than sand, water flows through the structure, directly reinforcing the idea of current as something fluid and continuous.

Electric cords weave throughout the scene, evoking the charged energy of creative thought as it pulses and connects.

Interspersed natural elements, including flowers and leaves, introduce the current of life, grounding the piece in organic growth and transformation.

Together, these elements create a surreal landscape where creativity operates as both an electric force and a living current: fluid, entangled, and in constant motion.”

Bobby is the creator behind Retro Recipes Kitchen, where his love of food and storytelling gives forgotten dishes a fresh spin for modern tastes. What started with a curiosity about classic recipes and the stories behind them has grown into a devoted following across social media, a debut cookbook, Retro Recipes: Vintage Dishes with a Modern Twist, and a turn on Season 4 of Gordon Ramsay’s Next Level Chef.

🌴 August Recap + September Save the Date 🗓️

What can a palm tree teach you about creativity? Turns out, alot.

For our August CreativeMornings Palm Beach talk, we gathered at Soulmates’ Music in Northwood Village with Jennifer ALLY to explore NAKHLAH, the Arabic word for “palm.”

Drawing inspiration from Florida’s sabal palm, an 85-million-year-old survivor of hurricanes and fires, Jennifer explored resilience, generosity, and rooted creativity, looking at how we weather life’s storms and draw strength from the communities around us.

Thank you to Jennifer for sharing her story, insight, and humor with us, to Soulmates’ Music for welcoming our creative community, and to everyone who joined us.
