Junior tennis round-robin match-play tournaments for 10u. UTR round-robin for 14U Junior tennis match-play series for kids 7 thru 17. Multiple sessions per year.
Competitive and fun short sets playing for computer points published upon completion of each session on www.Grassrootstennis.net
Ages are approximate as skill level is the main focus. All matches played on Saturday and Sunday, as per 2022 schedule. Locations are usually Boca Grove or other nearby clubs. Locations are posted on the schedule and on tournament registration.

Grassroots Tennis had another successful tournament in September. Due to rain, the kids were unable to play on last day, which also happened to be the AWARDS day. I could not bear to end the tournament without having given out awards. So while I had to cancel all matches for the day, I asked the players to show up for the awards ceremony later on in evening once the rain stopped. I was happy to see that several showed up, and not one complained about not having being able to play that day.
Weather is not in our control, but our attitude is. I handed out Sportsmanship awards and 1st, 2nd, 3rd place trophies. I called each child by their name and said a little something about them. Regardless of scores and results, to me each is a winner for showing up, for putting in the hard work and for wanting to compete and give their bests.
