New episode of RoyalTEA Talk airs TODAY at 12 Noon on SHETV Network! ๐Ÿ’Ž

If you have been sitting on a decision โ€” a business move, a ministry transition, a "do I stay or do I go" โ€” and you keep telling yourself you're "still praying about it," this episode is for you.

Dr. Portia Basham (Lady P) breaks down why "What is God's will for my life?" is often the wrong question when you're stuck โ€” and gives you three smaller, practical questions to ask instead, plus a real framework to help you move forward this week without needing a guarantee first.

She also shares her own story โ€” five years of sitting frozen before relaunching her ministry, and what it actually took to move.

Before God expands your platform, He strengthens your foundation.

Deborah's life reminds us that godly leadership begins with character, not charisma.

As you read through these five ways God develops His leaders, ask yourself:

Which area is He refining in me today?

Don't rush the process. The leader God is forming is just as important as the assignment He has prepared.

Your reputation isn't built by what you post.

It's built by who you are when no one is watching.

Deborah reminds us that credibility doesn't come from self-promotion.

It grows through consistency.
*Integrity.
*Wisdom.
*Faithfulness.

The world celebrates visibility.

God values trustworthiness.

What are you building today?

What do people experience after they leave a conversation with you?

Do they encounter wisdom?
*Peace?
*Integrity?
*Grace?
*Or simply information?

One of the greatest lessons from Deborah's life is that people didn't seek her because of a title.

They sought her because they trusted her.

Trust isn't built overnight.

It's built through hundreds of ordinary decisions to walk in integrity, humility, and obedienceโ€”even when no one is watching.

Character isn't simply part of leadership.

Character is leadership.

Before God enlarges your influence, He develops the kind of heart that can steward it well.

Today's question isn't:

"How can I become more influential?"
*It's:
"Who am I becoming while God is preparing me?"

๐Ÿ‘‡ What character quality is God developing in you during this season?

The world often measures authority by popularity, position, or power.

Scripture paints a different picture.

Deborah reminds us that true spiritual authority is rooted in a life surrendered to God. Before she led a nation, she walked faithfully with Him.

As you swipe through these five marks of spiritual authority, ask yourself: Which one is God developing in me right now?

Deborah wasn't powerful because she held a position.

She was powerful because she walked closely with God.

Her influence didn't begin when people followed her.

It began long before that...

in private obedience.

In consistent faithfulness.

In a life surrendered to God's voice.

The world teaches us to chase influence.

Scripture teaches us to pursue intimacy with God.

Because when God entrusts you with authority...

it is never for your glory.

It is always for His purpose.

Send it to a woman who is becoming the leader God has called her to be.

We live in a culture that tells us to build a platform.

*Build influence.
*Build followers.
*Build a name.

Yet when we study Deborah's life, we discover something completely different.

Her authority didn't come from self-promotion.

It came from a life that consistently sought the presence of God.

People trusted Deborah because they first recognized God's wisdom operating through her.

The question isn't...

"How do I become more influential?"

The better question is...

"Am I becoming the kind of woman God can trust with influence?"

Before God increases your reach...

He often deepens your relationship with Him.

๐Ÿ’ŽThis week we are exploring Deborah's Spiritual Authority and discovering what biblical leadership truly looks like.

๐Ÿ‘‡ Finish this sentence:

"Lord, develop in me..."

You don't become spiritually authoritative because people recognize you.
You become authoritative because God entrusted you.

How many women are waiting for a title...
before they obey?

Deborah didn't chase influence.

She cultivated intimacy with God.

Authority begins in private long before it is recognized publicly.

Perhaps God isn't waiting to promote you.

Perhaps He's waiting for you to trust what He's already placed inside of you.

What private place is God calling you to steward faithfully today?

What if the very thing you have been calling "selfish" is actually biblical wisdom?

In this week's RoyalTEA Talk, we're talking about something many Christian women struggle with:

โœ”๏ธ Feeling guilty for saying no.
โœ”๏ธ Constantly overextending yourself.
โœ”๏ธ Carrying responsibilities God never assigned to you.
โœ”๏ธ Believing your worth is measured by how much you do for others.

Jesus modeled healthy boundariesโ€”and because He did, we can too.

If you have ever felt emotionally exhausted, spiritually drained, or afraid to disappoint people, I believe this conversation will encourage and challenge you.
