If you have been around children, you will experience their innate trust in the adult who spends time with them. The sweetness of childlike trust is that it just believes.
It’s not conditional. It’s not complicated. It’s not driven by hype.
That’s what marks the healing of these two blind men. We don’t know much about their backgrounds, but it was obvious they were desperate for a miracle. Jesus asks them a rather surprising question: “Do you believe that I am able to do this?” It’s surprising because it's rather obvious if they called out to him publicly and asked for His mercy that they believe He can heal them.
The science behind the healing of someone who is completely blind shows that it's impossible to restore sight once it’s lost, and even harder when there was never any sight before. Jesus, the One who created the whole world, would be restoring both these men to their original design with perfect 20/20 vision. He would be restoring nerves, reordering blood vessels and creating neural pathways before He opened their physical eyes.
Only God can! Only the Creator can create from nothing! Only the Maker can make a way out of nothing to begin with.
What God-sized miracle are you waiting for? What impossibility are you facing that only God can turn around? Do you have a simple childlike trust to answer the call of your creator and say, “Yes, I believe you can do this”?
Matthew 9:27-31 KJV
And when Jesus departed thence, two blind men followed him, crying, and saying, Thou Son of David, have mercy on us. And when he was come into the house, the blind men came to him: and Jesus saith unto them, Believe ye that I am able to do this? They said unto him, Yea, Lord. Then touched he their eyes, saying, According to your faith be it unto you. And their eyes were opened; and Jesus straitly charged them, saying, See that no man know it. But they, when they were departed, spread abroad his fame in all that country.

Mark 12:30 KJV
and thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.
Control over your own mind and thoughts is a part of godliness. It takes effort, but it is definitely possible through the act of memorizing and storing God's Word in your heart. Each gem of scriptures gives you what you need and is straight from God’s heart.
Jesus said " You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart , with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength." Memorizing scripture inspires your heart, nurtures your soul, and devotes your mind to those things that matter to God. Start simply, but start today.
