A spectacular meal at Goblin Market in Mount Dora. When the waiter advised that the scallops hailed from Hokkaido, it was Game Over! Everything was memorable, as well as the bread pudding dessert.

One of our top 3 meals in Orlando. Is it a coincidence that 2 of our top 3 meals are Filipino based? The chef just received a James Beard award nomination. Did I mention they already have a Michelin Bib Gourmand? Kaya serves up some of the best cocktails, chicharron with caviar, prawns, oxtail, salad with local calamansi, ube flan. Kaya never disappoints. A superb vibe that matches the level of food being served.

We checked out the new Chayote Barrio grill in Winter Park. This is a Latin inspired menu kicked up a notch in terms of luxury. We got to try a dish with Osetra caviar, luxury croquettes, and a flavorful lamb dish. This place is definitely worth a try. As a hispanic who grew up on rice and beans, this was a refreshing departure from your typical Latin restaurant.

Our first stop on the island of Madeira. We ordered the seafood platter for 3 with black scabbard, lobster, mussels, prawns. This was at Marisqueira o Barqueiro. Friendly staff and some of the best seafood you’ll ever have.

1st meal in Madrid was a Basque gastropub with a great a concept and seafood tapas. Just pick your tapas from the bar or staff. Charge you based on the toothpicks left on your plate. Great way to kick off the trip with a random choosing that did not disappoint one bit.

What a damn meal this was. Easily top 2 meal in Orlando so far. Danilo’s Pasta Bar a chef’s counter nestled within Neighbors on the 2nd floor of East End Market. A seamless blend of Asian and Italian dishes. What an experience! Best part, within walking distance from our home!!

Top 3 burger of all time. Kimchi, egg, bacon at Gott’s Roadside in Napa Valley. Great beer selection including the venerable Pliny the Elder. Kinchi was not overpowering at all and really added a beautiful touch of flavor. Check out the before and after!

We ate breakfast here EVERY SINGLE DAY during our time in Napa. The breads, coffee, almonds, cheeses, the views! A gem!

For the 2nd meal in Napa we went to Bounty Hunter. The voluptuous beer can chicken was the star of the show. Juicy and thicc wven Ryder couldn’t keep his eyes off that chicken.

Well worth the drive, 8 seat counter Norigami in Winter Garden Florida lives up to the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommendation. Straight bangers plate after plate! This sushi snob was completely satisfied! In my top 3 sushi meals of all time. Reservations highly recommended.

If ever in Victoria, BC or in the BC area there should be a Tacofino location nearby to help satisfy your burrito or taco cravings. Pictured is the steak burrito.
