Last night, U.S. Special Operations forces pulled off one of the most ballsy and complex rescues in modern history.

After an American F-15E Strike Eagle was downed over southern Iran on Friday, its Weapons System Officer (WSO) spent more than 24 hours evading Iranian forces in brutal mountainous terrain. Injured (broken ankle), and hunted, this warrior hiked a 7,000-foot ridgeline with nothing but grit and training keeping him alive.

Hundreds of American special operators, including Navy SEAL Team Six, along with dozens of fighter jets, strike aircraft, helicopters, and elite cyber/space/intel assets converged deep behind enemy lines.

U.S. attack aircraft lit up Iranian convoys trying to close in. When our ground teams reached the WSO, they laid down suppressing fire to keep the IRGC at bay while extracting him. No prolonged firefight, just precise, overwhelming American dominance.

Then came the final twist: two extraction transport planes got stuck at a remote Iranian base. Commanders didn’t hesitate; they flew in three replacement birds, loaded up every American, and destroyed the disabled planes on the ground so they’d never fall into enemy hands.

This wasn’t just a rescue.
It was a statement: No American is left behind. Ever.
To the WSO who stayed alive and fought the elements and the enemy for over a day, welcome home, brother.

To the operators, pilots, and support teams who ran toward the danger, you are the reason America still projects power like no one else on Earth.

De Oppresso Liber.

What do you think, Patriots? This is why we train harder, move faster, and never back down. Drop a 🔥 if you’re proud to be American tonight.

With profound grief and deep respect, Grey Team honors the four heroic U.S. Army Reserve soldiers from the 103rd Sustainment Command who made the ultimate sacrifice on March 1, 2026, in a drone attack at Port Shuaiba, Kuwait, during the early days of Operation Epic Fury against Iran.

Capt. Cody A. Khork, 35, Winter Haven, Florida
Sgt. 1st Class Noah L. Tietjens, 42, Bellevue, Nebraska
Sgt. 1st Class Nicole M. Amor, 39, White Bear Lake, Minnesota
Sgt. Declan J. Coady, 20 (posthumously promoted from Specialist), West Des Moines, Iowa

These dedicated logistics professionals kept our forces supplied, fed, and mission-ready, true backbone heroes whose selflessness embodied the best of America's Reserve forces.

Grey Team remains committed to supporting active-duty, Reserve, National Guard, and veterans through wellness programs that heal invisible wounds and prevent su***de. We fight so no more families face this unimaginable loss.

To their families, friends, and fellow service members: You are in our prayers. America stands with you, mourns with you, and will forever honor their courage.

Rest in peace, brave warriors. Your legacy endures.

🎄 A Heartwarming Military Tradition: 70 Years of NORAD Tracking Santa 🎄
In the height of the Cold War in 1955, a simple typo in a Sears ad turned a top-secret military hotline into a direct line to Christmas magic.

A Colorado Springs newspaper ad invited kids to "Call Santa," but the misprinted number rang straight to the Continental Air Defense Command (CONAD) center—predecessor to today's NORAD, the binational U.S.-Canadian command responsible for defending North American airspace.

Colonel Harry Shoup, on duty that December, answered the red phone expecting a national emergency... only to hear a child's voice whisper, "Are you Santa Claus?"

Instead of brushing it off, the tough Air Force colonel (affectionately later known as the "Santa Colonel") played along. He assured the kid Santa was en route, and soon his entire military team was fielding calls, providing "radar updates" on Santa's sleigh.
On Christmas Eve, a staffer even drew a sleigh and reindeer on the massive operations map used to monitor real threats. Col. Shoup turned it into a joyful update for the media—and a beloved tradition was born.

For 70 years now, the same military personnel who vigilantly guard our skies every day pause on Christmas Eve to bring wonder to children worldwide. Using real radar, satellites, and fighter jets, NORAD "tracks" Santa, with thousands of volunteers (mostly active-duty service members, families, and civilians) answering calls and sharing his location.

It's a beautiful example of how our military's strength and readiness can also spread kindness and joy. In a world that sometimes feels divided, this enduring mission reminds us of the human heart behind the uniform.

This Thanksgiving, as we sit down with family and friends, thousands of brave service men and women are still standing guard, far from home, missing the very moments we cherish most.

Let’s take a moment to honor them.

Thank you for your service, sacrifice, and unwavering dedication.
